Garavogue 20 Year Old Single Malt
Named after the river that flows past the distillery through Sligo town into the Atlantic, Garavogue is a bridge between past and present — a 20-year-old Irish single malt, double-distilled, and finished across an unusual breadth of casks under Master Blender Helen Mulholland.

The whiskey spent a minimum of fourteen years in ex-bourbon American oak before some six further years across French Muscat, French Sauternes, Spanish Pedro Ximénez sherry and Barbadian rum casks. The house is candid about its intent: the current fashion is a rich sherry finish, and Garavogue is purposefully different — complexity and subtlety working hand in hand.
The result opens on vanilla, warm peach and spun sugar with floral and raisin notes; vanilla and citrus sweetness complement buttery ripe apples, while fresh fruit from the rum cask creates a prominent, sweet finish. It is the first whiskey released from Hawk's Rock Distillery — Sligo's new chapter, twenty years in the writing.
Subtle, sweet, purposefully different.
Vanilla, warm peach and spun sugar with floral and raisin notes on the nose. Vanilla and citrus sweetness complement buttery ripe apples on the palate, while fresh fruit flavours from the rum cask carry a prominent, sweet finish.
Hawk's Rock
Hawk's Rock Distillery takes its name from a prominent outcrop in the Ox Mountains — the one that inspired W.B. Yeats' play At the Hawk's Well. Past the distillery runs the River Garavogue, through Sligo town and into the Atlantic Ocean. In this corner of Ireland, landscape and literature share a watershed.
