55 Year Old Tomintoul 1969 Single Malt
Distilled at Tomintoul in April 1969 and matured for fifty-five years — first in ex-sherry butts and hogsheads, then married and re-racked in 2022 into a fresh ex-Matusalem sherry cask. The house calls it the spirited, sociable younger sibling to its earlier Release No. 36; 430 bottles were drawn.

Sweet, spiced, half a century on.
Red fruits, ripe peaches, toasted almonds and warm toffee on the nose. Juicy stone fruits and baking spices fill the palate, turning through grassy dryness and liquorice sweetness to pineapple upside-down cake and rich caramel — smooth, complex, sweet yet spicy to the close.
The Last Drop
The Last Drop Distillers was founded in 2008 by Tom Jago and James Espey — two spirits men with more than eighty years of experience between them — on a simple pursuit: to travel the world in search of the rarest and most remarkable spirits ever made, and to present them, untouched, to those who understand them.
